The tall and lanky Gambian played the whole game but not at his preferred place upfront rather at an unfamiliar position as a central midfielder due to the fact that both of the club’s midfielder were suffering from a virus.
“We won the game against Sway by a goal to nil. I played in central midfield because both our midfielders were out with a virus” Faal told Gambia Sports Online.
“I hate that position” he continued, “but, it’s all about team work not individuals says our coach”.
“But nonetheless, we were lucky to win” Faal concludes
The victory moved Westover Bournemouth to fifth on the twelve team Premier League table with twelve points from six games, five points adrift of leaders Bournemouth Electric with two games in hand.
