The Gambian forward swapped Assyriska where he played for the past couple of seasons for Sundsvall in the middle of the season and was in red hot form by scoring nine goals in the eleven games he played in.
Aziz’s form nearly earned Sundsvall a place in the top flight but again misses out in the last day of the campaign like at Assyriska a season before when the team suffered countless injuries and to key players at the business end of the season.
“Everything was going right for me in Sweden when I moved to a new club in the middle of the season. I scored nine goals in eleven games but then we started to lose games in the last four matches when we suffered a lot of injuries and suspensions and unfortunately, we missed out on promotion.
“I don’t know whether other teams are interested in me across the big leagues in Europe because currently am on holiday, but in football, you never know, because a club can call you today and say they are interested.
“But I will definitely love the opportunity to play in one of the biggest four leagues in Europe, but at the moment, I don’t know anything about that yet” Aziz told www.gambiasports,gm.
