The former Banjul Hawks player is yet to play under Coach Paul Put as he failed to impress him during the 2010 qualifiers but Bah is happy to be given the chance to prove to the coach what he can do.
In an exclusive interview with West Coast Radio and Gambia Sports Online reporter Haggi Drammeh in Wollof, the former KPV Kokkola midfielder believed he is better than some of the players playing under the Belgian but he has to be patient as any other player.
“I am very happy to come and play for my country since it is the dream of every player. I know that I am not been given a chance under the Coach [Paul Put] even though I know that I have a place in that team.
“It is painful though, but I can’t turn my back on my country because we are all equal to the team. But it is the decision of the coach, and I have to respect that” Dawda told www.gambiasportsgm.
Dawda Bah who scored nine goals in midfield position for the Helsinki outfit that helped the club to win the League spoke about his teams good run last season and the prospect of playing in the UEFA Champions League next season and you can listen to it on the Audio section of our website.
