Serekunda East goalkeeper Alagie Jobe made a string of fine saves to deny Assan Jatta in two occasions before Ousman Touray and Serekunda East’s second goal was incorrectly ruled out for offside in the second period.
But then, the central referee Papa Gassama had to stopped the play in the 73rd minute when he was alerted by the fourth official that stones are been thrown at the assistant referee on the far side at the Kairaba Avenue end of the Serekunda West Mini-Stadium.
The fracas ended up between the Bakau players and Serekunda East striker Buba Jallow alias Meles. The lad was seen picking something from the Bakau post which many observers believed is a ‘Juju’ before he was chased by a group of angry Bakau players led by Assan Jatta.
