First things first for Buckle

The Gulls’ have in their books young Gambian left sided midfielder Mustapha Carayol who just returned from a three months emergency loan from Non-League side Kettering Town.

And their boss has predicted a busy month, with players leaving Plainmoor as well as arriving.

But he stressed: "The players who are most important are the ones already here.

"People will stay, and some will leave — that always happens in football.

"But I want to make sure that I speak to everyone about their futures in the next week or two.

"Not all clubs or managers do this in January, but I feel it’s the right thing for us to do at the moment."

Buckle hinted that two loan players who have returned to United, defender Chris Todd and Ben Joyce, may be going out again.

"Chris is talking to one or two clubs, and Ben will probably go on loan again," he said.
